Itinerary

Day 1:Wildebeest, giraffe, and spotted hyena in the Maasai Mara

Highlights | Large concentration of wildlife, Big Five, over 400 Bird Species

Experience the wildebeest migration as they brave the Mara River, dodging crocodiles, while the African Big Five roam the savannah. Birdwatchers will delight in spotting vultures, eagles, and the lilac-breasted roller. A thrilling safari where nature’s drama and beauty unfold before your eyes.

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel/Airport early morning and depart for Mara. You will arrive just before lunch, and head for a little game drive as you head to your lodge for lunch. Get a little rest then off to an afternoon game drive. With a huge concentration of Wildlife, Maasai Mara is among the best parks for a truly remarkable African Safari. The biggest highlight of any Mara adventure is the annual wildebeest migration, crossing over from Serengeti into Mara for greener pastures. The Big Five also call this place home, with spotting a leopard relatively easy.

Day 2 - 3: Home to the Big Five and Wildebeest Migration Maasai Mara

Start each day with an exhilarating 4x4 game drive in the reserve, where excitement awaits at every turn. Experience the ultimate highlight of your safari: the dramatic river crossings, as wildebeest brave their way past enormous crocodiles lurking in the water. With the incredible abundance of wildlife, you can expect exceptional game viewing no matter when you visit. Prepare for unforgettable encounters and breathtaking moments in this stunning landscape!

Day 4: Black Rhino Haven in Lake Nakuru

Start your day with an exciting early morning game drive, followed by a delicious breakfast at the lodge before checking out. Then, enjoy a scenic journey to Lake Nakuru, taking in the breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley, and arrive just in time for lunch.

Explore Lake Nakuru National Park on thrilling game drives, where you’ll encounter majestic wildlife, including rhinos, buffalo, eland, and the rare Rothschild giraffe. Keep your eyes peeled for an incredible array of birds, such as pelicans, fish eagles, Verreaux's eagles, and Narina trogons.In the evening, return to the lodge for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 5: Off to Naivasha

Highlights | Great Rift Valley, Giraffes, Boat Riding, Hell's Gate

After an early breakfast, embark on an exhilarating morning game drive in Hell’s Gate National Park, located within the scenic Lake Naivasha. Famous for its stunning natural geysers, towering star rock formations, and geothermal steam, this park offers a truly atmospheric experience unlike any other in Africa.

Upon your arrival at Lake Naivasha National Park, check into your accommodation and take some time to relax for the afternoon. You can also opt for a boat ride to Crescent Island, where you can view hippos and enjoy the serene beauty of the lake.

In the evening, savor an authentic African dinner before settling in for a restful night.

Day 6: Explore huge herds of Elephants at Amboseli

After an early breakfast, you’ll depart from Naivasha and set off for Amboseli National Park. Despite its smaller size compared to other parks in Africa, Amboseli boasts some of the most stunning views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

Arrive in time for a delicious lunch at your lodge, where you can enjoy those breathtaking vistas of Kilimanjaro. After lunch, get ready for your afternoon game drive, where you'll have the chance to encounter incredible wildlife in this iconic landscape.

Day 7: Full Day in Amboseli

Start your day early to catch breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds gather at its summit. This magnificent, free-standing mountain will serve as a stunning backdrop throughout your day in Amboseli National Park.

Explore the park's diverse wildlife, including large populations of wildebeest, giraffes, baboons, and lions, among many others. You also have the option to visit a nearby Masai village, where you can learn about the rich culture of the renowned Masai warriors, celebrated for their bravery and vibrant traditions. This optional experience offers a unique glimpse into the lives of the Masai people, enriching your safari adventure.

Day 8: End of Safari

This morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast before checking out of the lodge. Set out for one last thrilling game drive, soaking in the sights and sounds of the wildlife that have made your safari unforgettable. As you make your way back to Nairobi, take a moment to reflect on the incredible adventures and memories you've created during your journey. Finally, connect with your onward flight home, carrying with you the excitement and magic of the African wilderness!
