Day 1: Relax in Nairobi Before Your Safari Adventure
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a member of the Kwezi team, who will drive you to your hotel in vibrant Nairobi and give you a brief on your itinerary and code of conduct. Start your journey at the National Museum of Kenya and Snake Park, where you'll explore the country’s incredible diversity of fossil remains, including the famous Turkana Boy. This 1.6 million-year-old skeleton has shaped our understanding of early human physiology. This visit promises to be both educational and inspiring. After lunch, connect with majestic Rothschild giraffes at the Giraffe Center, learning about their conservation while feeding and photographing these gentle giants.

Day 2: Your safari starts in Samburu
Your safari begins in the untamed wilderness of Samburu, offering a unique wildlife experience compared to the popular Maasai Mara and Serengeti. Discover elephants, lions, and rare species like the long-necked gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, and Somali ostrich. Samburu promises unforgettable encounters with wildlife you won’t find further south.
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel/Airport early morning and depart for Samburu arriving in time for lunch. Get some rest then we kick off with an afternoon game drive. Later, go back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Discover the Samburu Special Five & a close encounter with the elephants of Samburu
Spend the entire day in Samburu National Reserve, with game drives. Samburu is famous for its Samburu Special Five, Grevy’s zebra, with their intelligent pin-stripe pattern; gerenuk, of the impressively stretchy neck; Beisa oryx, with pointed horns and distinctive markings; reticulated giraffe, clad in attractive coats; and Somali ostrich, a feathery delight. You will also be able to see the Ewaso Nyiro river which cuts through the park and provides nourishment and sustainability for the Fauna and wildlife in the park. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 4 & 5: Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to the Big Five & White Rhino Haven
Embark on an early morning game drive, then head back to the lodge for breakfast and checkout. Then, start your journey to Ol Pejeta.
Your day will be filled with excellent game viewing in the conservancy (keep an eye out for the Big 5 – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo). Be sure to take advantage of all the unique activities on offer between game drives. Drop by the chimpanzee sanctuary to say “Hi” to the rescued primates, and participate in an optional lion tracking excursion and horse ride through the wild or with rhinos. One opportunity you definitely cannot miss is a visit to the Endangered Species Boma to see the world’s last two remaining Northern white rhinos; you’ll also get the chance to hand-feed Baraka, a blind black rhino!
Day 6: Safari to the Rhino Haven & home to pink Flamingos in Lake Nakuru
Embark on an early morning game drive, then head back to the lodge for breakfast and checkout. Then, start your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying the stunning Great Rift Valley scenery, and arriving just in time for lunch. You'll explore Lake Nakuru National Park on game drives to see its populations of large mammals like rhino, buffalo, eland, and rare Rothschild giraffe, as well as the park's glorious roster of birds like pelicans, fish eagles, Verreaux's eagles, and Narina trogons. In the evening, you will go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: The Big Five & Large Concentration of Wildlife in Maasai Mara.
Have breakfast at your lodge then check out. Have a game drive on your way out of the park as you embark on a journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
With a huge concentration of Wildlife, Maasai Mara is among the best parks for a truly remarkable African Safari. The biggest highlight of any Mara adventure is the annual wildebeest migration, crossing from Serengeti to Mara for greener pastures. The Big Five also call this place home, with spotting a leopard relatively easy.
Day 8 & 9: Explore the vast Savannah of Mara
Start each day with an exhilarating 4x4 game drive through the reserve, where incredible wildlife sightings await. The highlight is witnessing the dramatic wildebeest river crossings as they brave crocodile-infested waters. With abundant wildlife year-round, you're guaranteed unforgettable game viewing on every drive.
Day 10: Off to Naivasha
After an early breakfast, depart for the stunning Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya's most picturesque Rift Valley lakes. Here, you'll have the chance to spot hippos, zebras, and giraffes along the lakeshore—a perfect addition to your safari experience. Arrive in time for lunch, then enjoy exciting activities such as a scenic boat ride and a hike on Crescent Island. For the adventurous, a bicycle ride through Hell’s Gate is also available. Conclude your day with dinner at your lodge or camp, followed by a restful overnight stay.
Day 11: Close encounter with huge herds of Elephant in Amboseli
After early breakfast, It is time to leave Naivasha behind and head to Amboseli. While Amboseli may be smaller than other parks, it offers breathtaking views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free-standing mountain. Arrive in time to savor lunch at your lodge, where you can take in stunning vistas of Kilimanjaro before embarking on an exciting afternoon game drive.
Day 12: Exciting Game Drives with the Backdrop Of Kilimanjaro at Amboseli
Start your day early to witness breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds gather at the summit. This stunning backdrop enhances your experience in Amboseli, home to abundant wildlife, including wildebeest, giraffes, baboons, and lions. You also have the option to visit a nearby Maasai village, where you can learn about the rich culture and bravery of the Maasai warriors, renowned worldwide.
Day 13 - 14: Tsavo West, Untamed Wilderness
Explore Tsavo West, a breathtaking expanse of Africa’s wilderness where every moment is an experience waiting to unfold. Picture yourself amidst the vast red-earth savannah, where the thrill of spotting red-mud-coated elephants and elegant antelopes keeps you on the edge of your seat.
For the curious traveler, Tsavo West offers encounters with extraordinary creatures like the long-necked gerenuk, rare Grevy’s zebras, and the dazzling blue-necked Somali ostrich. Big cat enthusiasts are in for a treat—brace yourself for the excitement of tracking lions and cheetahs as they roam freely in their natural domain.
Day 15 - 16: Tsavo East, Untamed Wilderness
Get ready to explore one of Africa's largest and most captivating conservation areas, where the red-earth savannah sets the stage for thrilling wildlife encounters. Picture yourself spotting majestic elephants dusted in red clay, graceful antelope species, and the quirky long-necked gerenuk, a true wonder of nature.
For the wildlife enthusiast, Tsavo East offers a rare chance to marvel at Grevy’s zebras and the striking blue-necked Somali ostrich, unique to this iconic landscape. If you’re a big cat lover, keep your camera ready—this is your opportunity to witness lions and cheetahs in action, thriving in their untamed habitat.
Day 17 - 20: Diani Beach Safari: Wildlife Adventure meets Coastal Bliss
Dive into a world of thrill and relaxation as you explore Diani’s endless possibilities for an unforgettable safari. Start your adventure with a Wasini Island excursion, combining snorkeling, dolphin spotting, and a taste of coastal life. Wander through the serene Gazi Mangrove Boardwalk, a hidden gem for nature lovers.
The skies are calling! Skydiving over Diani's turquoise coastline offers breathtaking views and heart-pounding excitement. Explore the rugged beauty of Diani’s coastal trails and dunes with quad biking or camel riding, perfect for adrenaline junkies.
The ocean beckons with kite surfing and windsurfing, or dive beneath the waves at Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park, where coral reefs and vibrant marine life await.
Enjoy a romantic dhow cruise as the sun sets, painting the ocean in hues of gold. For the anglers, test your skills with deep-sea fishing, chasing marlin, sailfish, or tuna in the Indian Ocean. (All activities mentioned are optional).
Day 21: End of Safari
This morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast before checking out of the resort. You’ll then be transferred by road to the airport, where you can relax and prepare for your onward flight home, taking with you wonderful memories of your adventure. Safe travels!
