Lake Manyara is a beauty on its own and get to experience the famous tree-climbing lions that call this place home. To top it off, Zanzibar is full of history and charm, a magnificent and romantic location to relax and wind down your safari.

Day 1: Safari starts with a visit to Lake Manyara National Park.
Your Tanzania Safari Tour will start with a safari at Lake Manyara Park. You will be picked up by our representative at the airport or a central location and be briefed on your safari itinerary.
The expected arrival time will be around mid-morning to lunchtime. Head to the lodge for lunch, have a little rest then head for an afternoon game drive. The park is home to tree-climbing lions and a good number of elephants and hippos. Predators available include cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas among others. The great and Lesser Flamingos, Northern Shovelers and Pelicans are among the bird species present here. In the right season, you can see the shoreline turning pink with millions of flamingos flocking there.
Later on, head back to the camp for dinner and a night stay.
Day 2: After the African Big Five at Serengeti
Today you will spend your time exploring the wildlife in Serengeti, with a huge concentration of predators and the Big Five. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We will be arriving in Serengeti mid-morning. You shall have a chance for a mid-morning game drive as you head to the lodge for lunch. It is much easier to spot the leopard in Serengeti, which is among the best locations in Africa to sight one.
You'll have another chance to explore the Serengeti, an afternoon game drive after lunch. You can also opt to have lunch in the park.
You'll head back to the lodge after your game drive for some rest, dinner and accommodation.
Day 3: Exploring the World Heritage Site of Ngorongoro
Ngorongoro is a World Heritage Site and home to a large number of wildlife as the landscape offers a natural boundary to their habitat. Start the day with an early morning breakfast, then you will have a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch packed. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and has fourteen kilometres of isolated natural beauty. Ngorongoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals.
Your game drive will start immediately after you get here, which is around mid-morning. Have a rest then in the afternoon you'll be transferred to Olduvai Gorge, a pre-historic site, where remains of the old man have been preserved dating millions of years. You shall learn how man evolved to the present.
Later, head for another game drive in the afternoon.
Day 4: off to the blissful island paradise of Zanzibar
Considered among the best beach destinations, Zanzibar offers great and magical beach experiences infused with the local Swahili culture.
Start your day with an early morning breakfast before embarking on a short game drive at Ngorongoro. You'll then be transferred to the local airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight to Zanzibar, with the expected arrival time being around the afternoon.
Head straight to your resort for some lunch and refreshments. Later, you may opt to relax at the resort and engage in swimming at the hotel pool.
Day 5-8: Exploring the culture and experiences of Zanzibar Island
Your days in Zanzibar will be filled with thrill and relaxation. You will visit Jozani Chwaka National Park for sightseeing and nature walks, also, you'll be able to spot the endangered Red-Colombus Monkeys.
Another place to visit is the Spice plantation, which includes cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and pepper, with so much to learn about from food culture, and medicinal use among others.
Other notable destinations to visit include the Old Fort of Zanzibar, the House of Wonders, The Old Dispensary and the Mnarani Aquarium Turtle Conservancy.
Day 8: End of your Tanzania Safari Tour
After breakfast, you shall check out of the hotel, where you may opt to go shopping at a mall on your way as you are transferred to Zanzibar International Airport to catch your international flight.
