Recent changes by the National Government of Kenya have come to effect and have largely affected visa applications and processing of travel payments. We look at two critical changes that will impact travelers coming to Kenya.

Visa On Arrival Not Available
All foreign visitors to Kenya should be aware of the most recent change in the country’s visa-granting system. From August 25, 2023, all eligible citizens must apply for a Kenya E-Visa to visit the country, according to the Kenyan government. The official online application website for Kenya is now accessible (https://evisa.go.ke), application on arrival is not available.
While on the website, you may encounter challenges which may include payment issues and login difficulties. For any of our guests with difficulties completing the online process, we can assist in submitting the application on your behalf.
Requirements For The Application
You will be required to meet the following requirements during the application process:
- Travellers must have a valid passport with at least two blank pages, including minors and children.
- From the arrival date in the Republic of Kenya, the passport must be valid for at least 6 months.

“Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) wishes to inform our esteemed customers and the public that they can now pay for services on the eCitizen platform. This follows the directive that all government services be onboarded on the eCitizen platform to ensure efficient service delivery and transparency,”
